We are looking for an experienced logistics professional to design and own Frey’s containerized export logistics in Brazil – starting with cotton and expanding into coffee, sugar, and soybeans. Role & Responsibilities:
As Senior Logistics Lead, you will build and own Frey’s Brazil logistics setup end to end – from origin to destination mill – partnering daily with the Brazil commercial team on trade structuring, while becoming part of a global logistics function.

You will act as the logistics lead in the region designing processes and laying the foundation with logistics providers, business partners while ensuring administrative standards are met.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Design and run the end-to-end containerized flow for cotton – from farm and gin through inland transport, warehousing, port optionality (Santos/Paranaguá), stuffing, and delivery to destination mills.

• Build the Brazil setup as a commodity-agnostic blueprint and lead it’s extension into coffee, sugar, and soybeans as those verticals open.

• Build the local service provider base – transport companies, warehouses, terminals, forwarders, and customs brokers – and own documentation accuracy and Comex compliance.

• Place bookings on the most cost-efficient, feasible option manage peak-season capacity, and audit and dispute freight, demurrage, and detention claims.

• Work with Global Freight Management on Brazil power lanes, and with global logistics and data teams to integrate Brazil into Frey’s systems and automate execution work.

• Act as sparring partner to the Brazil commercial team on landed cost, lead times, and execution feasibility, and help build the future Brazil logistics team.

Expected skills & Experience:

• 6-10 years of experience in containerized Agri domestic and export logistics in Brazil, with cotton or comparable commodities.

• Experience directly or indirectly leading a small team or function is preferred.

• Deep understanding of Brazil logistics, farm-to-mill flow, export documentation, and Comex compliance.

• Experience in building a logistics setup from scratch – administrative and registration frameworks, processes, and clear lines of responsibility.

• Comfortable being the main logistics responsible in a region for a period.

• Continuous improvement mindset, comfortable using AI and digital tools to simplify and automate execution work.

• Fluent in Portuguese and English, and open to domestic and international travel (20-40 days per year)
